Support

Stuck? Ask a person.

There is no ticket queue, no chatbot and no phone tree. There is one inbox, and the person who reads it is the person who builds the app.

Bugs, questions, account trouble, feature requests, privacy requests, and anything else.

What to expect. We aim to answer within 2 business days, and within 5 at the outside. CoreProof Field is free and early, so that is a genuine intention rather than a service level — and if it slips, the honest answer is that one person got buried, not that your email went somewhere.

Australian business hours, Australian Eastern time. Nothing is on call overnight.

Start with the guide

The Getting Started guide is a full walkthrough of CoreProof Field, with screenshots taken from the running app: signing in, starting a site in one tap, the progress meter, quick capture, notes, photographs, plans, guided mode, and Finish & send — plus building your own template with the three-step wizard and the five-tab editor. Its reference half covers the eleven answer types and exactly what separates Free from Pro.

Open the Getting Started guide

One page, about 2 MB because the screenshots are inside it. It opens in your browser and needs nothing installed. Use your browser's print dialog if you want a PDF copy for the ute.

The guide is generated from the running app, not written by hand. That means its pictures are real, and it also means a screenshot can fall behind a change we shipped afterwards. If the guide and the app disagree, the app is right — and telling us is genuinely useful.

The things people ask first

I have forgotten my password

Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we will email you a link. The reset itself finishes on this website, on the reset page — then come back to the app and sign in with the new password.

We cannot tell you your old password. It is stored hashed and we have never been able to read it.

I have changed device

Sign in on the new device with the same account and your report profile — name, company, contact block, logo — comes with you.

Your sites do not: they live on the device. Export a site from the old one and open it on the new one.

Can you recover my work?

No, and we would rather say so bluntly than be vague about it. Your sites, plans and photographs are on your device and never uploaded to us, so there is nothing on our side to recover from.

This is the trade for an app that works with no signal. Export your sites; a backup file holds the photographs too.

It works with no signal, right?

Yes. Once it is installed and you have signed in once, the app opens and works offline indefinitely. A connection is only needed to create an account, sign in the first time, and save the report profile.

Basements, lift shafts and remote sites are the case it was built for.

Telling us something is broken

A bug report that gets fixed quickly usually has four things in it. None of them requires you to know anything technical:

  1. What you were doing — "adding a photo to a note", "exporting a report".
  2. What happened instead, in your own words.
  3. The device and browser — "iPad, Safari" is plenty.
  4. A screenshot, if the screen showed something odd.
Please do not send us a client's survey unless you mean to. We do not need your site data to look into most problems, and we would rather not hold somebody else's building. If a file really is needed, we will ask, and we will tell you what we do with it and when we delete it.

Privacy, data and legal

  • What we collect and what stays on your device: the Privacy Policy — see section 3 for the app specifically.
  • Access, correction or deletion of your data, or closing your account: email support@coreproofai.com. No form, no particular wording.
  • The terms you are using the app under: the Terms of Use.
  • Found a security problem? Tell us at support@coreproofai.com rather than demonstrating it on somebody else's account. A good-faith report is welcome, not a breach.

The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are currently unreviewed drafts, and each says so at the top of its own page.
